Support Staff Positions


We are a Before and After School Enrichment Program only. Our hours of operation are Monday - Friday; 6:30am - beginning of school day and end of school day - 5:30pm. We are open only during the school year. If you are unable to work this split shift, you will be automatically disqualified for any position. We open our doors on Wednesday, August 23 (the first day of school for Wilson SD's 2023-24 school year). We are open on Act 80/Professional Development Days that Wilson SD has off so the need for full day coverage on those particular days is necessary.

Group Supervisor


* A Group Supervisor is responsible for the following minimum duties:

      - Planning and implementing daily program activities

      - Coordinating activities with the Assistant Group Supervisors and Aides

      - Assisting the Director with designated activities

      - Conduct disaster drills (ex fire, tornado) in accordance with Forever Kids at Heart's QA Standards/State Licensing Requirements

      - Maintain program inventory (snacks, food, supplies)

      - Help manage faculty schedule

      - Conduct faculty orientation and monthly faculty meetings

      - Conduct monthly classroom observations

      - Maintain a resource library at the program

      - Schedule shared classroom/game room space

      - Review children's portfolios regularly

      - Conduct curriculum meetings every quarter


* A Group Supervisor shall have attained one of the following qualification levels:

      - A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in ECE, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or the Human Services field AND management experience in a licensed childcare center.

      - A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in ECE, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education or the Human Services field AND 1 year of experience with children AND management experience in a licensed childcare center.

      - An Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university in ECE, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or the Human Services field AND 2 years of experience with children AND management experience in a licensed childcare center.

      - An Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in ECE, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education or the Human Services field AND 3 years of experience with children AND management experience in a licensed childcare center.


****Hourly wage is $15/hr. These positions are part time (20-25 hours/week). 


Assistant Group Supervisors


* An Assistant Group Supervisor is responsible for the following duties:

      - Assisting in the implementation of daily activities under the guidance of the Group Supervisor

      - Coordinating daily activities and supervising aides in the absence of the Group Supervisor


* An Assistant Group Supervisor shall have attained one of the following qualification levels:

      - A High School Diploma or a General Educational Development certificate and 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university in ECE, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education or the Human Services field.

      - A High School Diploma or a General Educational Development certificate, including 600 or more hours of Secondary training (a min. of 400 hours of classroom training & a min. of 200 hours of supervised training in a child day care facility) 

      - A High School Diploma or a General Educational Development certificate, 15 credit hours from an accredited college or university in ECE, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education or the Human Services field AND 1 year of experience with children

      - A High School Diploma or a General Educational Development certificate and completion of a post-secondary training curriculum

      - A High School Diploma or a General Educational Development certificate AND 2 years of experience with children 


****Hourly wage is $12/hr. These positions are part time (20-25 hours/week).



Aides


* An Aide is responsible for assisting in the implementation of daily program activities

* An Aide shall have attained one of the following qualification levels:

      - A High School Diploma or a General Educational Development certificate


****Hourly wage is $10/hr. These positions are part time (20-25 hours/week).
